History

The human resource consultancy was founded in 1985. It was established to give practical independent advice and assistance to organisations who are going through change or are growing.

The organisation prides itself on its practical approach. This is achieved because all of our consultants have considerable line management experience. This experience has been gained in Blue Chip organisations in functions as diverse as Production, Engineering, Commercial and Human Resources.

Long Term Relationships

We aim to develop long term relationships with clients. This we feel we have achieved. To date 80% of our work is by repeat work or recommendation from satisfied clients.

This is achieved by developing a clear understanding of the clients issues and needs. A practical approach is developed which is agreed in advance by the client. Jointly we work towards a business solution, which is owned by the client.

We have found that ownership of the issues is the key to success. We act as the catalyst for the change, but the client must own the problem in order to gain a full solution.

Flexibility

We do not have a set way to tackle a problem. We develop a specific approach to your problem, thus we have to be flexible in our approach as each client's problem is different. It is not acceptable to have only one method of solving a problem as each client has a different history and culture.

Quality

We pride ourselves on our quality, so do our clients. Our product meets the needs of clients, but is of an order which will delight the client. The quality of our delivery sets us above most other organisations.

Key Figures

Tony Weightman - Managing Director
Tony Weightman

Tony is the Managing Director of the organisation. He is an experienced manager who has worked for Procter and Gamble, Unilever and at Director Level with Scottish and Newcastle Breweries. He is known for his practical approach and engaging style.

He has experience of working with large client organisations in the UK such as Sage, GSK and Virgin Atlantic. He has experience of working across the Globe with Nestlé, BAT and Suez and Linpac.

He delivers practical change projects, management skills training and facilitates team building and problem resolution meetings. He is also able to provide a practical HR advisory role for growing companies. He is currently mentoring three new HR professionals.
